More jobs are to go at the steelmaker Corus. I feel sorry for the families of those affected. Many of the affected will have worked hard for many years for that company and they are being cut loose at the first sign of trouble. The potential financial hardship for these people is terrible. Once again it proves that there is no such thing as a job for life no matter how hard you work. You are always better off owning the company you work for by having your own business. That way, you can never get sacked!
