Be grateful

German tycoon Adolf Merckle, worth billions, has killed himself due to losing billions in the credit crunch. Its incredible that he thought that money and status were worth more than his own life. It is a lesson to us all to not make the pursuit of money the only important thing in your life. Merckle would still be a billionaire despite his losses, and it is amazing that he did not appreciate all the money he still had remaining.

What would you do if you lost a lot of money? How would you handle it mentally? In such situations I believe it's always good to look for the many positive things you do have, and be grateful.

History is full of stories of people who lost tremendous amounts of money, but staged a comeback, or learned to be content with their life. Losing money is never the end of the world. Be positive about life.
