Deal or No Deal

Channel 4 airs a great show called Deal or no Deal. 22 boxes have different amounts of money in them, and contestants eliminate boxes by picking them. A banker calls at certain points, with an offer of money to leave the game. It is very random and shows that luck plays a definite part. It is very much like life, in that every financial decision you take affects you positively or negatively financially. If you are doing well, you can raise the stakes a bit, but if you are doing badly, you have to lie low and take less risks while your finances recover.

It also shows how much emotion money evokes. Whenever contestants win or lose money, their real feelings become evident. Money certainly is very important to most people, and it is better to have a lot of it than a little.

Your life is happening now and you have a choice of being financially proficient, or being broke. Which deal will you choose?
