Martial Arts champion Ian Freeman is facing jail for tax avoidance. Nobody likes paying tax, but it is never worth trying to dodge the tax man. Always consult a professional advisor if you are trying to lower your taxes, but never try to be sneaky. The tax office has the power to investigate all of your bank accounts without you even knowing about it, so never think you can just hide money away.
I was charged £50 by my bank last year for being overdrawn on my current account (due to another company wrongfully deducting £100s from my account). I complained that the charge was excessive, and they refunded me £25. Its amazing how big corporations steal money from our accounts every year, but they are never faced with jail.
Always act with the highest integrity when it comes to finance. Always accept the fact that you have to pay your taxes, because the tax man will always get you in the end.
