Leaders are readers

A great quote is that "leaders are readers". Many wealthy and successful people read books all the time. I have learned to be a copious reader of books. I never turn my back on knowledge, because if I had never read The Richest Man in Babylon, I would not have realised I could gain wealth and increased my bank balance.

Here are a list of a few millionaires and billionaires who have confirmed in their autobiographies or interviews that they read books about wealth, autobiographies, success, and world events all the time: Mark Cuban, Donald Trump, Duncan Bannatyne, Richard Branson, Cameron Johnson.

Right now I am currently re-reading Dragons Den Success from pitch to profit, and I will spend the year re-reading my book collection on wealth.

I am probably going to break my new year's resolution to not buy any books, and when that time comes, here's what I will have a choice of buying=Secrets of the millionaire mind-Eker, The way to success-Trump, Way of the turtle-Faith, Make your first million-Webb, Freakonomics-levitt, Microtrends-Penn, Rise and fall-Ratner, The Snowball-Schroeder, Jump in-Burnett, Pieces to weight-50 Cent, Security Analysis-Graham.

I prefer to read autobiographies, as they tell how a successful person became that way from their own mouths. My favorite autobiographies are by: Duncan Bannatyne, Felix Dennis, James Dyson, Donald Trump, John Paul Getty Snr.

Reading books increases your knowledge about money. It is like loading your SatNav with the right data for your destination. Books are like maps which assist you in seeking money.
