The tortoise

I got a porcelain tortoise a few days ago, and put it on my mantelpiece. It serves as a reminder to me that in the end, slow and steady generally wins the race. Wealth is all about building things up, slowly, like making a wall one brick at a time. I remember my millionaire mentor Mr Piper, telling me this. The tortoise will always evoke memories of Warren Buffett, who built his vast wealth over time, without get rich quick mentalities or methods. And it only cost me 99p!
