A doctor gave away more than £750k to a guru. He is now taking her to court to try to get his money back. Always beware of gurus. More often than not they will make up anything to get money out of you. If somebody as clever as a doctor can get scammed, anyone can.
People look at gurus and say "well, he/she is successful, so he/she must know what he/she is talking about". I liken this to athletes who win lots of medals, proving their success, but then get found out for taking performance enhancing drugs. Look at Dwayne Chambers, Ben Johnson, etc.

No matter what success a person has, or how much money they possess, you need to first examine exactly how they got it, before you think about following them. Normally this is very hard or impossible to do, so its best to stay well clear of most gurus.
