Moneyseeker3000 vs the taxman

I beat the tax man! My tax owed came in at one third of what I estimated it might be! I always assume the worst case scenario, just to make sure I get no horrible surprises later on. I always overestimate my expected losses. My tax bill came to well over one thousand pounds, yet I was more than prepared. I feel as though I've made money, as I had put lots of money aside which I can now invest in other things.

The taxman always goes by his own calculations, so actually that means it's not worth hiring accountants to do the job. I did go to an accountant initially, but when he told me he would charge by the hour, I realised that he would simply take as long as he likes and line his own pockets with my cash. Also, whatever figures he might come up with are irrelevant, because the tax mans calculation is always final. In conclusion, when it comes to tax, just send the taxman the figures and let him work it out for you.

When I looked at the tax mans calculation for me, to be honest I couldn't understand any of it. This is despite years of money seeking. I've also got a few books on tax, and I've researched UK tax on the Internet, yet I can't figure out his results. I bet any accountant would also be stumped. All I need to know, is that I just have to sit back and let the taxman do the work. I'll take care of the money side

I now owe over a thousand pounds to the Inland Revenue. So Mr taxman, how do you want the money? Cash or cheque? You'll get your money immediately, and with no problems, because you can't beat moneyseeker3000.
